Birth: Jun. 23, 1930
Decatur County
Kansas, USA
Death: Aug. 11, 1986
Multnomah County
Oregon, USA

Kathryn June "Kay" Christensen was born the daughter of Russell "Rusty" and his wife Mildred "Milly" (Parsons) Christensen. She first married Kenneth Leo Boyer, with whom she had 2 children: Gail and Guy. Kenneth and Kay Boyer divorced, and Kay remarried Adrion LeRoy Kearl, with whom they had a daughter Kristy.

Kay worked many years at the IRS Center in Ogden, Utah as a Tax Examiner and later as a Travel Agent for the Job Corps in Oregon.. she loved spending summertimes with her 3 grandkids, that she had at the time..

She died of metastatic Breast Cancer; but she tried all she could to live; even trying experimental medications. She is to be commended for being a fighter; and when all else failed; she wanted to die at home, in her own bedroom, in her own bed.. and she got her wish !

She had many friends, and family members that loved her and miss her greatly.
