Bob was born April 26, 1925, in Rockwall and grew up in Fort Worth. He served in the U.S. Navy in World War II. He moved to Burleson in 2004. He was an overland truck driver for Redball Motor Freight and retired after 32 years of service. He believed in working hard and did so until 1999. Our dad enjoyed life, family and friends. He was jolly and outgoing and his word was his bond. "Daddy-O," you are our hero.
Bob was preceded in death by his brothers, Freddie and James, and sisters, Jaunita and Helen.
Survivors: Sons, Ricky Flanagan and wife, Laura, Michael Flanagan and wife, Vicki, and Donald Flanagan and wife, Penny; daughter, Sharon Foster; grandchildren, Brian, Jacob, Ethan, Leslie, Amber and Melissia; great-grandchildren, Jessica and Colton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
