Alexander Spotswood Vandeventer
Birth: 1844
Death: Apr. 26, 1910

Confederate Brevet Brigadier General in the US Civil War. He was the youngest Colonel in the Confederate Army. After the war, he became a lawyer, co-founding the law school at the University of Arkansas. He was chief deputy of Judge Isaac Parker and Mayor of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
