Birth: 1767
Henry County
Virginia, USA
Death: Oct. 2, 1830
Morgan County
Alabama, USA

He married Mary Graves on 28 April 1791 in Henry County, VA.
Green Bouldin was a wealthy plantation owner with many slaves and large land holdings near what is now Decatur, Alabama.
His wife, Mary Graves, was the daughter of William and Mary Graves of Henry County, Virginia. The progenitor of the Graves family in America was Captain Thomas Graves, who served as a Representative of the First Assembly in Jamestown, Virginia in 1619.

Green Bouldin first farmed land in Henry County, Virginia, given to him by his father. The tract consisted of 310 acres on Grassy Creek. Later his father conveyed
another 134 acres along the waters of Grassy Creek to him. It should be noted that the Bouldin family cemetery is on that site and contains the markers of Thomas Bouldin and his son, Thomas Junior.

Green and his family left for Alabama about 1818 and began their plantation immediately. After his first wife, Mary died, he married again, to Elizabeth Jiggets Driver, a widow with six children. She died in 1829 and he in 1830.
Having died intestate, his estate was sold and all proceeds divided among his children, as ordered by the Probate Court.
He is buried in the Bouldin Family Cemetery on Old Moulton Road, behind the school now situated there.
Southern Advocate Newspaper
Huntsville, AL. 16 Oct 1830 issue tells about his death on 2nd instant (i.e. 2 Oct 1830):

"Died on 2nd instant at his residence in Morgan County, AL in his 63rd year, Capt. Green Bouldin.
He was a native of Henry County, VA. and for some years prior to his decease resided in this state." (mentions large number of descendants)
Cemetery Records Morgan County, AL. book calls it Crow Cemetery but...Original deed says it was a Bouldin deed for the cemetery land.
