Arthur Boone Forqueran was born in Missouri. He was the son of John Forqueran and Jane Brown, both from Virginia. He served in the Civil War in Co. L, Quantrel's Scouts, Missouri Troops. He came to TX about 1873 and settled in Lockhart, Caldwell Co., TX.
He married Elizabeth Garner Boales, (buried at the Texas State Cemetery in Austin, Travis Co., TX), the widow of Hiram Boales.
His 2nd wife was Elizabeth "Lizzie" Johnson.
He was admitted to the Confederate Men's Home on 4 Apr 1929. He was a Baptist. He had a son named J. W. Forqueran who lived in San Marcos, Texas.
