Margie was born November 2, 1943 to Albert and Evelyn (Severson) Anderson at Lake Preston. She graduated from Lake Preston High School in 1963 and then worked at the Lake Preston Memorial Hospital until having to retire for health reasons. Margie was a very active member of the Lake Preston Lutheran Church and served on many committees. She was also very active in the Blood Bank and received special recognition for her many years of service. She enjoyed reading and volunteered in the summer reading programs for children in both Lake Preston and Arlington. Margie was loved by all of her friends and neighbors in Lake Preston. Her instant smile and quick wit were known and loved all over town. Recently, Margie was enjoying the newly found independence that her electric wheelchair was allowing her. She was often seen buzzing un and down the streets waving to and visiting with everyone she met. Survivors include her mother, Evelyn Anderson of Lake Preston: two sisters; Avis Crow of Lake Preston, and Colleen Overby (Al) of Binford, North Dakota; a brother, Ronald (Kay) Anderson of Lake Preston; 11 nieces and nephews; 12 great nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Betty Ann Steen. She was preceded in death by her father and a brother-in-law, Ken Crow.
