Eddie was the daughter of Grace Mae Stoddard and
Kenneth James Goben. She married Samuel Oscar Dunn in Corvallis, Benton Co., Oregon on June 24, 1950. The couple had 3 children: John Richard, Marvin Eugene "Gene" and Jerri Marie Dunn. Sam was from Texas and they moved there from Oregon about 1955. After they parted ways, Eddie returned to Oregon where her family lived and she resided in Union, Oregon for many years. She and her later husband Walter Francis Ruberg (also from Union, Oregon) retired in Hope, Idaho.

She was a member of the Bonner County (Idaho) Search and Rescue group for many years. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and camping. She became an expert on the many back roads and trails located in Bonner County. Her skills in tracking and knowledge of the area were well known..

Sister of Carol Marie Jayne, the daughter of John Hueston Jayne and Grace Mae Stoddard.

Eddie always went by the last name of Jayne after her mother, Grace, married John Hueston Jayne. He was very much the "Dad" in her life when she was growing up...
