Margaret Helen Carter was born Oct. 21, 1909, in Portland. She was a union meat wrapper, as well as food demonstrator, including for Fred Meyer. In 1939, she married KENNETH E. HERMAN; he died in 1997.
Survivors include her daughter, Judy Gordon, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
