Dr. Theodore White Miller, age 78, passed away May 17, 1999, at his home. Born in Arkansas City, Kan. on Aug. 28, 1920, to Dr. Max Mayo Miller and Fauna White Miller. He is survived by his wife, Jonnie O'Dell Miller, whom he married on April 1, 1945, and by his children, John David (Enid) Miller, Ted Richard (Jackie) Miller and Gail Ann (James) Audino. Grandfather of Corrine Miller, James Miller, Bonnie Marie Audino and Adam Richard Audino. Also survived by his brothers, Dr. Max Mayo Miller, Lake Charles, La., and Dr. William Miller, Chandler, Ariz. Dr. Miller graduated from Northwestern Medical School in 1945. He interned at Kansas City General Hospital and did his residency at Children's Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Miller came to Pueblo in 1949 to practice with Dr. John Schwer. He was later joined by Dr. J.J. Yaeger and Dr. Gardner Champlin. Dr. Miller was a Captain in the United States Army Medical Corp during World War II and was a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Colorado State Medical Society, American Board of Pediatrics and past president of Pueblo County Medical Society. He retired in July, 1991. At his request, Dr. Miller will be cremated. ,Thursday, May 20, 1999, 2 p.m., Ascension Episcopal Church. Please omit food and flowers. The family suggests donations be made to Sangre de Cristo Hospice in care of the funeral home office.
