Stephanie was an avid lover of Disney, she loved Disney World.. That would be her vacation destination every year. The small photo on FAG was taken at Disney World.
Stephanie had attended SEMO. Stephanie could speak Spanish fluently and was an interpreter. She was also a pre-school teacher. She loved children, Stephanie wanted a baby and when she and her husband of 13 years discovered she was pregnant they were very excited. Stephanie had problems from the beginning. It was a very touch and go pregnancy. Baby Scarlett Rose (same initials as steph SRH) made it here just fine but Stephanie continued to have problems. Which finally led to her death 4 months after the birth of her baby.
She had many friends. The visitation/funeral brought family/friends from as far away as Oklahoma and Afghanistan.
Stephanie will be missed by everyone. This is a sad day in Southeast Missouri. We started out at Stephanie's Church (recreation building) where they graciously served everyone lunch at 11:00. Everyone shared stories of how happy Stephanie was. We then went over to the church for the funeral service. The pastor shared more stories of Stephanie and how she loved the lord and everyone else right down to Micki Mouse! They sang some beautiful songs. Then as countless police cars blocked traffic and the rest escorted us out of town, we then took Stephanie to her family cemetery in Advance.
