Anna Norton and Temple B Stanley were married April 9, 1831, in Stokes County, North Carolina; he was a farmer. The couple moved to Indiana in 1832. They had eight children in Henry County, Indiana before moving to Iowa in 1860; and was for many years were residents of Kellogg, Jasper County. In the Obituary of Temple Stanley it states Anna's death date to be July 9, 1883.
