Death Of Warren Man Is Sudden
Marion K. Bailey, 76, a retired farmer of Huntington county, died suddenly Wednesday at Huntington. He had been riding in the car with Robert Gard and when the latter returned after attending to some business, was discovered to be dead.
Death was attributed to a heart attack.
The decedent was born July 21, 1871, a son of Simon K. and Caroline Wheaton Bailey. He was married to Laura Rittenhouse on Feb. 20, 1894.
Surviving besides the widow are two sons, Harmon of Muskegon, Mich., Charles, of Fort Wayne; two daughters, Mrs. Fern Thompson, of Warren, and Mary McClelland, of Albion; a brother, Perry, of Florida, and a sister, Nettie Murphy, of Bluffton; nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
The body will be taken this evening from the H. Brown & Son funeral home to the Bailey residence in Warren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday at the Warren Baptist church, of which the decedent was a member. Rev. Dale Heinebaugh will officiate and burial will be at Woodlawn cemetery.
