Aunt Mim was a warm, loving woman with a big heart. She never had kids of her own but loved all her nieces and nephews as if they were hers. She and Uncle John lived in a big old farmhouse on a dead-end road in Glen Wild, set back in 100 acres of blueberry bushes and woods, with a pond and ducks and cats and dogs - the perfect place to spend carefree summer days. She baked and cooked and spoiled us rotten, and I don't think there is one in the bunch of us who will ever forget her. She was never cross with us, no matter how mischevious we might have been. I don't think I ever saw her with anything but a smile on her face. She loved her dogs, especially Duchess and Tippy, and asked nothing more of life than to be able to take care of those she loved. You are missed, Aunt Mim.
