Genner Nave
Union-Services for Genner Bell Owen Nave, 91, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home, with burial in Union Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Meals on Wheels program.
Mrs. nave, wife of the late C.H. Nave, died Thursday, July 1, 1993. Born in Decatur, Ala., she was the daughter of the late S. E. and Lucy Walden Owen. She was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are daughters, Pauline Pickens of Bessemer, Ala., Virginia Callahan of Hartselle, Ala., and Norma Miley of Campello;sons, Harvey, Thomas, and Leldon Nave, all of Union; a sister Maxie Owen Mote of Decatur; 20 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great- grandchildren.
