Michael Tony Angelo, 45, Neosho, died Feb. 6, 2010 at his home in Neosho, following a two and a half year illness. Michael was born May 27, 1964 in Neosho and was a lifelong area resident of Granby and Neosho. He owned and operated Angelo Excavation for ten years and prior to that had worked at La-Z-Boy Midwest for fifteen years. Michael is survived by his mother, Lois Ann Angelo, Hermitage, MO; his father and stepmother, Paul Edward and Jane Angelo, Granby; his former wife and caregiver, Dennese Brust, Granby; daughter, Taylor Angelo, Carl Junction, MO; two stepchildren, Michael Brust, Joplin, MO and Jennifer Gregg, Granby, MO; maternal grandmother, Margaret Miller, Hermitage, MO; two sisters, Colleen Angelo-Colvard and husband, Jerry, Brighton, MO and Mickie Sprenkle and husband, Harry, III, Neosho; one step grandson, Rilyn Brust and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Services will be Thursday, Feb. 11, 2010 at 10:00 am at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel in Granby, Buddy Funk will officiate. Interment will follow in the Granby Memorial Cemetery.

Michael graduated from East Newton High School in 1982, having attended 12 years in the East Newton school district. He had been in FFA, taken Vo-Tech at Crowder College his Junior and Senior years and also was a part of Mixed Chorus the last three years of High School.
