EDNA MAE FOSTER
Edna Mae Foster, 84, died Friday at Morningside Center in Chillicothe. She was born May 14, 1905 in Chariton County, the daughter of Isaac and Clarissa (DeWeese) Allen. She and Oran Lee Foster were married on Feb. 23, 1922 in Chillicothe. He died June 12, 1964. Also preceding her in death were an infant daughter, a granddaughter, a great-granddaughter, five brothers and five sisters.
Mrs. Foster is survived by four sons, Herbert and Raymond Foster of Denver, Colorado, Richard Foster of Cameron, Missouri, and James Foster of Hugoton, Kansas; three daughters, Mildred Brenner and Betty Browning of Laclede, and Virginia Walker of Cameron, Missouri; 28 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Laclede United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.
Services were today at the Laclede United Methodist Church in Laclede. Burial was in the Laclede Cemetery under direction of the Wright Funeral Home of Laclede.
