Otilla was the daughter of Philip and Sarah Elizabeth Reddick.

Otilla Augusta Reddick married W.J. Hatton on 15 May 1872 in Palymyra, Marion County, MO.

Funeral services for Mrs. Otilla Hatton, aged 73 years, were held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon from the home of her son, William Mills Hatton, on Orchard Avenue, with Rev. George C. Jurrans, pastor of Prince Avenue Baptist Church conducting the obsequies. Interment was in Thrasher's Chapel cemetery.

Mrs. Hatton died Friday night, following three weeks' illness.
