Services for Brittney Ann Gary, 17, will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, 2008, at Matthews & Son Funeral Home in Jennings with the Rev. Gerald Perkins officiating. She was born in Crowley to Bryan "Pappy" and Teresa Louise Addison Gary. Brittney will be laid to rest in the Bertrand Cemetery following her services. Brittney loved to swim, hang out with her friends, and listen to music. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She was a friendly and loving person who will be missed by many. Survivors include her parents, Bryan "Pappy" and Teresa Louise Addison Gary; one brother, Bryan "BJ" Joseph Gary of Hathaway; two sisters, Crystal Benoit and husband Charles Jr. of Iota and Velvet Gary of Hathaway; grandparents, Marshall Joseph Daigle of Silverwood and J.W. and Carolyn Addison of Jacksonville, Fla.; numerous aunts and uncle; godchildren, Chance, Collin, and Cason Benoit. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Melvin ``Red'' Gary, Betty Gary and Louise Doyle Daigle; uncle, Darrell Lee Cooley; and cousin, Tiffany Danee Newson. Brittney was murdered and her body was found on Nov.16th. She had been missing since Nov.2.
