She died Friday in a local hospital. Mrs Owens was born May 31, 1926 in Sollingen, Germany, and had been a resident of White Oak since 1947, coming from Germany.
She was a homemaker and a member of the East Mountain Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her son, Randall R. Survivors include husband, James C; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Donna of White Oak; grandson, Brian Christopher of Leveretts Chapel; brother, Walter Ehrler of Germany; special friend, Brian Scott Kennedy; sisters-in-law, Margaret Frazier of White Oak, Modine Stewart of Kilgore and Faye Owens of Longview; and brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Marie Owens of White Oak; and other relatives here and in Germany. - Longview News Journal
