Weep Not, She is Sleeping
Jan 11, 1912 - Ida May Waters was born January 28, 1869, in Kankakee county, Illinois. When seven years of age she came with her parents to Iowa, located in Carroll county, where she remained until her marriage to James Clapper; which took place in Lake City on November 10, 1892.
To this union five children were born: Blanche Edna, Harley Stanley, Marie Fern, Floyd Amos, and Roy Marlon. While yet a young woman, she united with the Baptist church at Carroll, and remained steadfast in the faith to the last. She was a faithful wife and loving, devoted mother.
Besides husband and children, she leaves to mourn her loss, her aged father, who lives in Lake county, Ohio, and two sisters Mrs. Wm. Birchard of Sac City, and Mrs. Frank Stoolman of Carroll county. The bereaved relatives have the sympathy of all. Auburn Recorder.
