Chip was a Cocker Spaniel who was named for his chocolate brown color (chocolate chip). He was a very calm animal and played dumb a lot, but he was smart like a fox. His favorite things were naps and taking walks, in that order. He loved his Mommy (Lori) and Daddy (Dan), and his Boston Terrier brother, Paco. He was one that always wanted to be "touching" one of us and often would calmly sit on our feet, just to be close.
Sadly, Chip acquired a skin condition that could not be controlled, which ultimately affected his immune system and he had to be put to sleep. Towards the end he was very unhappy because he was in a lot of pain. It was so difficult making that final decision. I'd like to think of him happily napping and taking walks across the Rainbow Bridge.
Chip was a very loving pet and he is deeply missed by his family.
"A special thank you to Medora for sponsoring dear Chip's memorial."
NOTE: Chip's Boston Terrier buddy and brother, Paco, joined Chip across the Rainbow Bridge on July 15, 2008, after suffering a sudden heart attack at home. Paco was 10 years and 10 months of age. Watch over each other my sweet little boys! Until we meet again...
All my love forever, Mommy Lori
