Anna was the daughter of David Soule and Elizabeth Butler. She was my third great grandmother.

Although her obituary lists a burial site, I have not been able to locate the cemetery. Any help would be appreciated.

She was first married to Elias Sowles in 1850.

Elias and Anna had six children:

The sad news of the death of Mrs. G. P. Campbell, formerly of this city but recently of Clay Center, was received Sunday. She died on New Year's morning. The many friends of the family, at this place, extend sympathy to the bereaved ones in their sad hour of affliction.

Anna B. Soule was born September 22, 1834, at Hagedorn Mills, Saratoga county, New York, and died at her home in Clay Center, January, 1, 1899, at the age of 64 years, 3 months and 9 days.

In 1850, she was married to Elias Sowles, to which union there were born six children, five of whom survive her; they being two daughters and three sons, all of whom are married and have families.

In 1862 they moved from New York to Nebraska and settled in Richardson county, and in January 1865 moved to Kansas.

In 1868 she was married to G. P. Campbell, to which union there were born three children, two of whom survive.

She was converted at the age of 11 years and two years afterward united with the Christian or Newlight church and had been a faithful follower of Christ and a firm believer in the Christian religion for more than fifty years. In the year 1890 she joined the M. E. church at Prairie Home, under the pastorship of Rev. D. A. Allen, of which society she was a member at the time of her death.

The funeral was held at the residence on January 2nd at 8 o'clock p. m. conducted by Rev. Little of Clay Center.

Interment was made in Prairie Home cemetery, services being conducted by Rev. D. A. Allen.
