William Hare, 41, Homewood businessman, died yesterday, of pneumonia, at his home, 7143 Upland Street. Mr. Hare was born at Bakerstown, October 2, 1886, but has resided in Homewood for the last 31 years. He was a member of Homewood Lodge No. 635, F.& A.M.; Homewood Royal Arch, Chapter No. 297; Liberty Valley Council No. 50, Duquesne Comandry No. 72 Knights Templar; Puritan Commandry No. 280, Knight of Malta and Wilkinsburg Council No. 198, Jr. O.U.A.M. He leaves his wife Izella White Hare; three daughters, Jane, Dorothy and Marian Hare; his father, F.R. Hare; his brother Edward Hare, and two sisters, Miss Alice Hare, all of Pittsburgh and Mrs. W.D. Calvert, of Columbus, O. He was a member of Homewood United Presbyterian Church and an active member of the young men's bible class. Our heavenly father makes no mistakes and our loss is his gain. To the grief stricken family we extend our deepest sympathy and commend them to the Saviour whom he loved to serve.
