Mollie was a gift on Christmas morning 1999 and was my best friend and constant companion for 11 years. As soon as she saw me pick up my purse she knew we were going for a ride somewhere and would bound out to wait my the vehicle door so she wouldn't be forgotten.

She loved the water and would swim out and fetch sticks as long as you would throw them and got really excited when we hooked up the boat to go fishing. She was a good cattle dog and in later life kept her paw in the game by barking at the cows from the front seat of the Kawasaki Mule.

Later in her life she had many medical problems, but no matter how sick she became she always bounced back. Even when she went blind from diabetes it didn't stop her from chasing the ball and going for walks.

Sadly this time when I took to the vet, she said "Not this time, she is too tired". So I let her go.

Good-bye my friend, you will always be the best doggie in the whole world.
