KIOWA - Mrs. Maude Kirby, 66, resident of Kiowa the past 20 years, died Tuesday at her home following a lingering illness.
She was a member of the Baptist church. Survivors include her husband, Elmer Kirby; a daughter, Mrs. [Willamae] Thompson, Wichita Falls, Texas; [three] grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are set for 3 p.m., Wednesday at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Dee Skaggs, McAlester, officiating. Burial, with the Chaney Funeral Home in charge of arrangements, will follow in the Kiowa Cemetery.
