Memorial services for Orene Morris Key, 89, of Lubbock and formerly of Lorenzo will be at 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, 2004, at the Lorenzo First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jerry Williams officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo. Mrs. Key died Thursday, Sept. 2, 2004, in Lubbock. She was born April 2, 1915 in Tell. She married James Boyd Morris Oct. 1, 1945 in Pampa. He preceded her in death Jan. 1, 1972.

Orene was a beautician and a member of the Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star, the Lorenzo Study Club, Bridge Club and the Lubbock and the Lorenzo Senior Citizens Center. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Green Sr. and Vada Spinks Green; two brothers, Curtis Green and James T. Green; and two sisters, Georgia Polvadore and Addie Mae Cypert.

Survivors include a stepdaughter, Sandra Morris Lowther of Washington; a brother, Charles Green Jr. of Ralls; a sister, Charlotte Loper of Lubbock; and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Lorenzo First United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 549, Lorenzo, Texas 79343.
