Mouthy Lane was born to a stray female cat that brought him and his siblings to a food dish in his adopted human parents yard when he was about 8 weeks old. Mouthy meowed constantly, obtaining his name of Mouthy. Mouthy was scared at first of the human touch. Mouthy came to us one day with a fractured back leg, which was the first time he walked right up to us and sensed no fear. We had his leg pinned by the vet, or otherwise they were going to have to amputate it. Mouthy's new found humans, Sue Lane and Douglas Ward, adopted him as their fur faced son.

Mouthy was so happy to be adopted, along with his twin brother Buddy. They were housecats living like kings, when tragedy struck.

Mouthy was lost to the house fire at his home. The fire was electrical. His adopted parents were gone at the time, and returned to a section of their house on fire. His adopted daddy crawled through the house to try to find him and his other fur faced siblings, but it was too late for Mouthy.
