Folk Figure. At the age of 5, on April 14, 1865, he witnessed the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln, by John Wilkes Booth, at Ford's Theater in Washington, D.C., while he watched "Our American Cousin." He died on April 13, 1956, at the age of 96, in Baltimore, Maryland, and he was the last surviving witness to Lincoln's assassination.

This gentleman appeared on "I've Got A Secret" on February 9, 1956. He had suffered a severe fall the night before in his hotel. RIP
