A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Furr will be held at 11AM Wed., June 1, 2005 at Wolfe Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jimmy Parrish officiating.
Mr. Furr was a son of the late Albert Gainsville Furr and Ada Drye Furr. He was the widow of Mary Merritt Furr. He was pre-deceased by both sons Marvin and Carl Furr.
Mr. Furr was a self-employed carpenter. He attended Bible Baptist Church and was a member of the Redman's Association.
Surviving are his daughter-in-law, Joyce G. Furr Norris; 2 brothers, Ray and James Furr, 3 sisters Helen Whitmire, Laura Merritt and Lucille Stewart; grandson, Gene Furr; 3 great-grandchildren, Katie Diana Primm, Robert Steven Furr, and Kelly Eugene Furr; 1 great-great-granddaughter, Brittni Furr.
