Pioneer Resident of Savery, 92, Dies in Colorado, Rite Here
Mrs. Mary A Groshart, 92, a pioneer Savery resident who moved to Ft. Collins in 1945 died at 3 am yesterday in Ft. Collins. Her body will be brought to McKelvey funeral home in Rawlins today.
Funeral services for Mrs. Groshart will be held at the Dixon Episcopal Church at 2 pm Friday. The Rev. Richard Herntz will officiate, and burial will be in the family plot in Reader Cemetery.
Mrs. Groshart was born in Marysville MO April 30 1858. She was married to Miles Groshart in Stratton NE Nov 14 1888. Her husband died May 1 1919.
She was a member of the Dixon Episcopal Church.
Survivors are 2 sons, Owen M. Groshart and Ethan Groshart both of Ft. Collins CO, 2 daughters, Mrs. Anne Ellenberger Ft. Collins and Mrs. Ethel Christiansen of Mont Home ID, 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
