CALDWELL — Services for Donald H. Bell, 58, of 303 Woodlawn Drive, Caldwell, who died Sunday of natural causes at a Boise hospital, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Flahiff Chapel, Caldwell, by the Rev. David Kinman, Middleton United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
He was born April 19, 1918, at Twin Falls. He married Phyllis Harold, May 30, 1952, at Winnemucca, Nev. He was employed for several years by the Duffy-Reed and Morrison-Knudsen construction companies as a heavy-equipment operator in the Northwest. In 1951, they farmed in Notus and in 1966, they moved to Caldwell, where they owned and operated the Snow Bell Cafe and Bell's Kwiki Car Wash. Mrs. Bell operated the Cow Palace Cafe at the Treasure Valley Livestock Co. since 1973. He was a member of the Teamsters Union, Boise.
Surviving are his wife, Caldwell; a son, Donald LeRoy, San Jose, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Foster and Mrs. Debbie Woods, both of Caldwell; two sisters, Mrs. Dean (Grace) Bennett and Mrs. Glen (Evelyn) Stanger, both of Twin Falls; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
