Many thanks to all of you who visit my sister; this means the world to me and my family.
Kathie was my half sister. She was the only child born to Elvin and Helen Anderson Rickard.
Kathie was such a beautiful and loving sister. I loved those brief times that she would come out for a visit to California, for my birthday, or she would call first thing on Christmas morning to wish us all a merry christmas.
She had this wonderful and infectious laugh that I will never forget. She once joked, that when ever she cooked anything, you could tell it was done because the smoke alarm would go off.
Kathie loved animals, especially her little dachshunds Heidi and Joey.
She was an accomplished artist and a member of the Pima Art Guild as well a porcelain doll artist.
Kathie also was a computer analyst for Pima County.
She was preceded in death by her brother Arthur Glass, and one of her granddaughters Allyson Johnson.
She was married to Howard " Dusty " Schoonover; and was survived by her loving mother Helen Glass, as well as her four children, several grandchildren, four half sisters, several nieces and nephews and one half brother, Elvin L. Rickard Jr. who recently joined her in Paradise.
I love and miss you so much, Kathie!
