Mrs. Armintha A. Misener died at 1:05 a.m. today at Mercy Hospital after a lingering illness. She would have observed her 82nd birthday anniversary on Aug 27.
Mrs. Misener was the window of Orville Misener who died on May 28 of this year.
She was born Aug. 27, 1878, at Coffeyville, and was married at Oakton, Mo. on Feb 20, 1898. The family lived 23 yers in the Walnut area, 14 years in Walnut. They moved to Parsons early this year because of failing health.
Mrs. Misener was the mother of 10 children, three of whom survive. They include a son, Ora E. Misener, Parsons, and two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Slagle and Mrs. Beulah Johnston, both of Overland Park; 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
The body was removed to the Carson Funeral Home at Walnut where services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, conducted by the Rev Richard Waltz; pastor of the First Baptist Church of Parsons. Burial will be there at Glenwood Cemetery.
