Octavia is one of thirteen children born to Thomas Benton & Dorinda Jane Hambrick Lemon. Siblings were Maryetta, John, Virginia, Joseph, Melissa, Relaford, Lura, Idella, Grover, dutch, Arthur & Mayma. She married Benjamin Squire Hobbs and they had ten children, Floraetta, Nora, Cloa, Jessie, Cecil, Hattie, Earl, Benjamin, William & Urvil. She is the 2nd great-grand aunt to my children.
