Martha married David L. Lamb on June 22, 1951 in Battle Ground and he preceded her in death on May 4, 2000. She worked for 10 years at J.C. Penny in sales and in the catalog and credit departments. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and she and her late husband had been active in square dancing clubs and camping clubs. Martha enjoyed reading, vegetable gardening, and working jigsaw and sudoku puzzles.
Surviving are a son, Robert L. "Bob" Lamb (wife, Lisa) of Lafayette; two sisters, Barbara Cunningham of Battle Ground and Evelyn Malchow (husband, George) of Idaville; two sister-in-laws, Phyllis Cadwallader of Grand Rapids, MI and Judy Cadwallader of Logansport; a grandson, Robert A. "Bob" Goldsmith (wife, Danielle) of Lafayette; and two great grandchildren, Samuel and Grace Goldsmith. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Kay Lamb, five brothers, Gordon, Richard, Dale, Ralph, and Donald Cadwallader, and a brother-in-law, Bruce Cunningham.
Visitation 4-7 p.m. Sunday Hippensteel Funeral Home. Service 10 a.m. Monday in Hippensteel Chapel with Pastor Scott Mann officiating. Burial to follow at Battle Ground Cemetery.
