Actress, Dancer. She was best known for her role as Sister Ana, in ABC's "The Flying Nun", appearing in 37 episodes from 1967 to 1970. She began her career in the 1950s, in the Broadway version of "Peter Pan", and was one of the principal dancers in the film "West Side Story" (1961). Her numerous TV series credits included "Rawhide," "The Rifleman," "Stagecoach West," "The Judge" "The Bold Ones" and "Here Come the Brides". On the stage, she sang and danced in the first National tour of "A Chorus Line" and the production of "Follies". She was also a voice over actress for several cartoon characters, most notably the 1980s syndicated series, "Jem". Cause of death: cancer.
