Betty June Cobia Ratcliff, 85 a resident of Colville, WA passed away Friday July 3, 2009 at Mount Carmel Hospital. She was born June 10, 1924 in Denver Colorado to Reuben and Effadale (Ames) Cobia.
Betty grew up and spent the rest of her life in California, Washington and Oregon except for three years in Montana recently. She married Dean Elmer Ratcliff of Hood River, OR on September 10, 1941, to this union were born four sons. Betty was a long time member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and did volunteer work at the Adventist Community Service in Colville, WA and Gresham, OR.
Betty is preceded in death by here husband Dean Ratcliff and one grandchild.
She is survived by her sons, Nicholas D. Ratcliff of Kettle Falls, WA; Dwight E. Ratcliff of Yelm, WA; Larry Jay Ratcliff of Peoria, AZ; and Stanley E. Ratcliff of Brownsville, OR; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
