Don attended Sacred Heart School, he later enlisted in the US Air Force and served in California, where he continued his education. After leaving the service, he worked at Hamilton Standard Division of United Aircraft in the Broad Brook and Windsor Locks Plants. United Aircraft transferred him to their Trevose Pa., division in 1967. He remained at that job through the company's ownership changes and was employed as process engineering manager at L-3 Telemetry East in Bristol until shortly before his death.
Survivors included his wife of 41 years, Linda Edwards Bouley, and their four sons, two daughters-in-law and four grandchildren. Also surviving were his mother-in-law, two sisters of Florida, and a brother of Indiana.
