Una (pronounced You-na) was the youngest of four children born in Denver to Arthur & Sedotha Parlee (Harrington-Lee) Voice. The family moved in 1916 to Lovell, Big Horn, Wyoming when her parents relocated to this rugged and scenic ranching area east of Yellowstone National Park. There she remained into her teen years until marrying John Robertson of Lovell. She and John had three children, Mae, Dora and Thryrelle. She then married Isaac Skidmore. They had five children, Doris, Belle, Samuel, Llewellen and Joseph. She and Isaac moved frequently as they were itinerant farmers working in Oregon and California. She settled permanently in California before 1940.
Una and her family were very active members in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She married a third time to Mr. Jansen.
