Ida, daughter of John Lester and Eleanor Herroon Saunders was one of eleven children. She was first married to Paul C. Lapham. Their son, Sgt. Eugene Lapham # 83136405 was killed in Germany in 1958. She is survived by her husband (now deceased & buried next to her) Thomas Patterson, two sisters and four brothers.
