Grover Bailey, well-known farmer of the Lizton area, died Saturday evening, in the Witham Hospital, Lebanon, following an illness of just a few days. A native of Lizton, he was born Dec. 6, 1889, the son of George and Hattie (Vest) Bailey. On April 14, 1915, he was married to Von Duncan who preceded him, Feb. 13, 1968. He spent his lifetime engaged in farming and was a member of the Red Men Lodge of Clermont and a 50 year member of the Knights of Pythias of Lizton. Funeral services were Tuesday afternoon from the Walker Funeral Home, Jamestown, with burial in the Lizton K. of P. Cemetery. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Deana Wills and Mrs. Opal Montgomery.
