Birdie Gavin Braddy was born October 10th 1892 in Walton county Florida. She was the daughter of Samuel Jefferson Gavin,(1861-1947) and Rachael Steel, (1871-1954). About 1910 she married James Cooper Braddy, (1887-1970). They had four children together; Warren Garfield Braddy, (1913-1989), Margaret Gretchen Bodden, (1926-2011), Harold Deforest Braddy, (1922-1977), and Mabel Augusta Araya, (1911-1985). She also had several grandchildren. She died on December 27th 1949 in Tampa Florida. She was 57.
