Minnie Fern Peak Compton, 81, of Fair Grove, passed away January 25, 2008. She was born June 5, 1926, and was a member of the Church of Christ on N. National in Springfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clint and Vera Alice Allen; husbands, Jack Compton and Roy Peak; and brothers, Junior, Arthur and Bill Allen.

She is survived by her children, Alice Daniels and husband, Raymond, of Springfield, and Tony Compton and wife, Diana, of Marshfield; brothers, James and Jerry Allen of Springfield; five grandchildren, Tonia, Dale, Troy, Mickie and Leslie; and 10 great-grandchildren, Toni, Brooke, Alyssa, Kensi, Betty, Bethani, Marina, Chase, Logan and Shelby.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 28, at 1 p.m. in Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial following in Danforth Cemetery, Strafford. Visitation will be held tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
