Daughter of the late Weldon and Carrie McCree. She was raised by her two aunts after the death of her father at an early age. Theresa was a happy, loving, positive, and outgoing person who always wore a smile. She attended the former J. F. Beavers Elementary School and graduated from the former College Park High School in 1975. She attended Atlanta Junior College and the Art Institute of Atlanta. She later organized and founded a company for full figured ladies-Le'Rese's. She confessed the Lord at an early age and joined the Laster Chapel United Methodist Church. She also loved butterflies and her favorite color was pink. She departed this life at age 32 from leukemia. It was her faith in God that helped sustain her during her illness.
Enter, Sweet Theresa
She always had a lovely smile; "Mama, I need to rest a little while". She never seemed hurt or sad; One never knew why she felt bad. She was talented beyond degree; For this was God's child, Theresa McCree. "Oh yes, I trust in God," she said; " I have the faith, I can't stay in bed". Now the day is over, all is calm; She knows that in Gilead, there is a balm. God has softly spoken in His call. Enter, sweet Theresa, into my Kingdom's Hall.
