Mrs. Loretta C. Bertram, 81, of South St., died Thursday, Nov.8, 1990, at Americana Healthcare Center.

She was born Dec. 12, 1908, in Nenno, a daughter of William and Agnes Bath Weber. She married Clemens A. Bertram who preceded her in death on Oct. 11, 1934. She then married Alex J. Bertram on Nov. 30, 1939.

Mrs. Bertram was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Altar Society, Daughters of Isabella and the Good Samaritan Guild. She was a former county treasurer in Fond du Lac County.

Survivors include her husband; one son, Cyril J. and his wife, Linda of Brookfield; three daughters, Sister Lucille Bertram, C.S.A., of Milwaukee, Petronilla Freund Stenz and her husband Sylvester, and Mary Ann Flood and her husband Dick, both of Fond du Lac; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one brother, Gregor Weber of Sugar Camp; two sisters, Casilda Zander of West Bend, and Monica Adelmeyer of Knowles; one brother-in-law, Battiste Del Ponte of Leroy; three sisters-in-law, Lois Weber of Fond du Lac, and Hilda and Bernice Weber, both of West Bend; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death were one son, Gerald; four sisters; and five brothers.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Zacherl Funeral Home, and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial. The Rev. Pete Drenzek will officiate. Entombment will be in the Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum.

Friends may call today from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 to the hour of services at the funeral home. A prayer service will be led by the Sisters of St. Agnes.

A prayer vigil service will begin at 8 p.m.
