Nov. 12, 1941 - Jan. 23, 2010
Our beloved Rick passed away unexpectedly at the age of 68. Predeceased by his dear father, Emile, and brother, Larry. He is survived by his loving mother Bernice; brother Jack; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, and other beloved family and friends. He will be forever missed, never forgotten, and always loved. He was a graduate of Sacred Heart H.S. He served his parish, Epiphany, with great devotion for many years. He was truly blessed to be able to combine his passion with work by serving as an usher for the SF Giants for 50 years and later for the 49ers. He also proudly served the Cow Palace, Moscone Center, and Maloney Security. He will be greatly missed by family, many close friends, and co-workers. Family and friends may visit after 4:00PM on Thursday and are invited to attend the vigil service also on Thursday at 7PM and the funeral Friday at 10:30AM from the chapels of Valente, Marini, Perata & Co., 4840 Mission St., SF., thence to Church of the Epiphany, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM. Committal to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Colma. Online condolences may be offered at www.vmpandco.com. You will be forever in our prayers.
