Mrs. Ruth Blackwood, 31 years old, wife of the president of the Blackwood-Davis business college, died Monday at her home, 1532 Northwest Forty-fifth street, following a two-month illness.
Mrs. Blackwood had lived in Oklahoma all her life, coming here from Sayre 15 years ago. She was a graduate of her husband's business college.
Surviving also are two sons, Roy Robert and David Ray Blackwood, and two daughters, Betty Mae and Rose Marie Blackwood, all at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. D.E. Hartman, Sayre; five brothers and two sisters.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Centenary Baptist church of which she was a member. Rev. R.M. Inlow will officiate. Burial will be in Sunny Lane cemetery.
