Passed away two days after Christmas, 1999, after being predeceased by her son, Benny David nine days earlier. She was also predeceased by her husband, Ben Ellis. She died from complications caused by colon cancer. She was survived by her daughter, Peggy Morgan;, daughter-in-law, Martha Ellis; and two grand daughters, Sonia and Sandra, and two great-grand daughters. She was also survived by two sisters, Jimmy Nell Gibson and Wilma Flanders, and many nieces and nephews.
