Betty was an exceptional person
To know her was to love her
I was blessed to be her stepdaughter

Always a silent hurt,
many a silent tear,
but always a beautiful memory
of one we loved so dear.

God gave us strength to bear it,
and courage to take the blow,
but what it meant to lose you

...no one will ever know.

Ecclesiastes 3:4
To every thing there is a season & a time to every purpose under the Heaven: "A time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance.

There are things that:
we don't want to happen but have to accept,
things we don't want to know but have to learn,
and people we can't live without but have to let go.

God Took Mom Betty To His Loving Home
God saw her getting tired, a cure was not to be.

He wrapped Mom Betty in his loving arms and whispered "Come with me".

She suffered much in silence, her spirit did not bend.
She faced her pain with courage, until the very end.
She tried so hard to stay with us but her fight was not in vain,

God took Mom Betty to His loving home and freed her from all pain and sorrow.

Mom Betty, In the garden of 0ur hearts your name is written on the sands of time forever and a day - the waves of life cannot wash it away-for it is there in our Sister and Brotherhood DNA and there it will stay.

Peaceful be thy silent slumber in the arms of Jesus Christ Our Savior

The Fallen Limb

A limb has fallen from the family tree.
I keep hearing a voice that says, "Grieve not for me.

Remember the best times, the laughter, the song.
The good life I lived while I was strong.

Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you.
Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through.

My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest.
Remembering all, how I truly was blessed.

Continue traditions, no matter how small.

Go on with your life, don't worry about falls

I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin.
Until the day comes we're together again.
