My grandfather was a towering man, just like his father John Crombie, Peoria's tallest patrol officer! Just before his death he ordered a new pair of shoes....size 14 double wide...Moser's shoe store in Peoria that still has my great-grandfathers shoes on the shelf because noone will buy them!

He was Son of Olive Bell Dehority and John Crombie. He was the grandson of William and Mary J. Montgomery Crombie and Avery F. and Matilda Jane Cross Dehority. He is the great-grandson of Marcus Crombie and George Washington and Mary Draper Dehority.
